Anastasia Skukhtorova
Fluid, flexible, fantastic
Anastasia Skukhtorova was born in Moscow, Russia. She began pole dancing at Moscow School in December of 2008 when she was only 18 years old. The first exposure Anastasia had of pole dance as art and sport was watching videos of her pole idols, Jenyne Butterfly and Felix Cane. They were a huge inspiration for her.
In the beginning, Anastasia, trained 3 days a week for about 6-7 hours. After a couple of months, her instructors suggested she become an instructor and she accordingly increased her training and began paying close attention to detail to choreography, mastering pole foundation movements, and stretching to increase her flexibility. Her back flexibility is natural, contortion quality, and while the rest of her body is also very flexible, Anastasia had to work hard to increase her flexibility to master the many movements for which she is well known.
All of Anastasia's attention to detail and hard training has paid off. She now trains others all around the globe, has won numerous championships, including a coveted World Champion title in 2013.
