The LucyPole Cup 2020 - Scoring and Judging Criteria 

In our year off, we spent many hours and countless conversations discussing how we could really bring what WE feel is important to our competition.  Our Committee, between them, have both competed and Judged around the UK and Internationally and have often been left feeling wanting for more transparency, more clarity, and more guidelines on how to compose and execute title-winning competition routines.  

We were also adamant that we wanted to focus on the HOW rather than the WHAT.  No specific extra or special scoring for tricks, but criteria weighted heavily towards the theme, concept, creativity, presentation and engagement of the routines.  

We put together our Judging Criteria with the 4 E's in mind:
